B&W Wednesday ~ our Francesca

Francesca Mei Leonard 1

It is once again Black & White Wednesday over at The Long Road To China! Make sure you stop by & say HI to Lisa and check out all the other bloggers who are participating!

Our Francesca has been home from school since February 5th.

Is she sick ~ no

Does she not want to go ~ no

She has been home from school for over a week now because of all the snow we got (if any of you have been keeping track we got over 50" of snow in a matter of 2 weeks).

Today is her first day back and she is super excited this morning to be seeing ~ once again ~ all her friends & teachers!

And even though there were times I though I would go cRaZy with the two girls home all.day.long. once again I found myself last night very sad. I know I must be cRaZy but I DO SO MISS our Francesca when she is at school. I think about her often and I find myself counting down the minutes until I can pick her up.

Oh Francesca ~ If only you knew how much I miss you when you are not with me....

Beautiful shot. My daughter is still pretty little but when she is away from me for an hour or two - I miss her more than anything. I don't want to even think about her going to school. I cannot believe all of that snow you have. I live in Ontario and I just have a dusting in my backyard. I can see grass right now. Looks like the states took the brunt of the winter chill for us this year.

What a beautiful picture of your beautiful Francesca. I hope she has a great day back to school and that you aren't too lonely without her.

Lindy starts kindergarten this fall. I can't believe it. When she first got home I was so overwhelmed at times I couldn't wait for the day but now...Well, my heart aches thinking about it.

Blessings~

Beautiful picture. I bet she was excited to go back even if mom is going to miss her. It was so funny when we went back last Friday, the kids all came running in saying how much they had missed me and their friends!

What a beautiful little girl! I can understand why 2 weeks would be too long with no school, especially in the winter when you are house bound. Wow! 50 inches of snow in 2 weeks? And I thought we Iowans had it bad! Hopefully spring is just around the corner :)

Is it me or does Francesca look so grown up in this shot? Maybe it is her eyes - oh, the story they tell!! beautiful girl - I know you love her so!
